Welcome to our Japanese Clothing Page.
We will teach about Traditional and Modern Cloths.

*Traditional Clothing

-Kimono(きもの)- The kimono is a Japanese traditional garment worn by women, men and children. The word "kimono", which literally means a "thing to wear" (きmeans "wear" and もの means "thing"), has come to denote these full-length robes. The standard plural of the word kimono in English is kimonos, but the unmarked Japanese plural kimono is also sometimes used.

-Yukata(ゆかた)- A yukata is a Japanese garment, a casual summer kimono usually made of cotton. People wearing yukata are a common sight in Japan at fireworks displays, *bon-odori festivals, and other summer events. The yukata is also frequently worn after bathing at traditional Japanese inns. Though their use is not limited to after-bath wear, yukata literally means bath(ing) clothes.279203_Full.jpgphoto_0323_1.jpg
